Excellent work, thank you! As governments continuously increase the stress level on their populations, reproduction rate as well as longevity decline. No hay otra camino!
That's a sharp observation and you'll see exactly what we were doing with our version 2 demographic engine and it's right along the lines of what you're thinking.
You are absolutely right. I am twenty right now and not one of my friends (married or not) want children. Me neither but i am the youngest of my friend and single lol
Our team will be tracing the full loop of macroeconomic consequences this will result in. Good or bad in terms of consequences will depend on your viewpoint. What we are absolutely sure of is that it's going to force a complete rethink of the Fiat monetary system and all Financial assets. At this point it's very clear to anybody who's been following along and seriously thinking about the economic system is that it's built for infinite growth. That system has never ever had to contend with the fact that you're actually going to be losing consumers. So perhaps they can prop up the system with inflation and keep the nominal price steady or even rising. But the real value of those financial assets are going to be declined. A lot of old people are going to find out that their retirements are not paid for and they are going to have to work. Either that or we tax the youth into oblivion. Fall along if you want to see us post the Final End Game of what this will look like and we predict by 2030 the stress cracks will begin to show. Will be the most consequential decade of humanity just on this one structural pillar crumbling underneath the economy. And there are many other pillars about to crumble
Not going to say who but the very first pledge was somebody from arketa at the full $2,000 a year. They are following our work because they are missing the causal chain mechanism and timeline. And we have it. You're only looking at population analysis. We've got way more that we're doing. Might take us one or two years to fully publish everything. The current geopolitics scramble that you see is just a symptom.
I live in Lithuania and the TFE for 2025 is 0.99. Every year less and less children are born. I highly doubt the 1.4 TFE floor. We have little immigration compared to some other EU countries, therefore I think it’s a good example what happens to developed nations having equality and educated female population.
That's correct. We have a series of updates and our base scenario is actually a 0.7 TFR floor which matches South korea. Which is why our strong conviction is that the United Nations is absolutely making fantasy predictions. Thanks for commenting.

Tom Murphy covered this on his blog a while ago:

And to be clear, this is good news: an obviously declining population will spell the end of the capitalist mode of production.

The degrowthers are way ahead of you on this, for example:

My personal belief is that the future will be characterised by an abandonment of exchange logic in favour of mutual aid.
